A battle I am yet to win

Yes, I am Catholic. In which this past Wednesday was Ash Wednesday...which I didn't attend. Lent consists of 40 days where we are supposed to pray, fast, and embrace our closeness with God. On Fridays we don't eat meat and throughout the 40 days we are supposed to give something up. Ever since I was about 5 I have had a small idea of what Lent is thanks to my CCD classes. But I wasn't forced to give anything up for lent until I was about 13. I would continuly give up something where it would last for about a week then cave in for the rest of the 40 days. This year will be the first year I give up something and will stick with it until Easter....I'm a little scared. So.....this year I decided to give up soda =[

Dear Dr.Pepper and Coke,

I will miss you both dearly. Who will be there for me when I come home from a stressful day at school? Who will refresh me when I go out to eat and I am ever so thirsty? I look forward to that day that we will meet again.

haha well I think I will survive there is much worse in the world than no soda. Plus I think it will be perfect for fitting into that beloved prom dress! Also, everyone please pray for the Freemans as baby Kayleigh will be undergoing some surgery next week. I can't wait to see the day that she goes home!
